Removing Boot Entries From Windows Startup
If you have more than one Windows OS installed on the same system, you will be prompted each time you boot to select which OS you wanna load. Sometimes, after removing one of those operating systems, the entry will still be left behind, even though it doesn’t exist anymore. This is annoying for many reasons. One of them is what brought you here. So let’s stop being annoyed and fix it the super-not-annoying way.
1: Boot into your main Windows installation
2: Go to start menu and type:
msconfig
3: Select System configuration when it pops up.

This will open the sys config window.

4: In the system configuration window, select the Boot tab.

In the boot tab you should see all boot entries that windows has a record of on your system.
5: Select the offending entry and hit Delete then click OK.

You can’t delete the actively loaded Windows entry, so don’t sweat that part. It will say Current OS next to the one you’re using. If you have 2 installs, then there will only be one other option left to delete. If you have more than 2 installs BE EXTRA CAREFUL NOT TO DELETE THE WRONG BOOT ENTRY!
6: Restart Windows and confirm the removal of the offending boot entry.
7: Get up and do the moonwalk to celebrate your awesomeness!
