Subscription & User Policy

We appreciate all of our subscribers and do our best to make sure we are honest and transparent about how we handle your info. No need for a 79 page, gently deceptive “privacy policy” with indecipherable jargon and awkwardly suggestive clauses. Trust, it’s not that serious…

• After subscribing, your name, email address, phone number (if you are subscribed to text updates) and any social media info is used to send you updates, news, alerts, product promotions and other things of that nature.
• We never use your subscription email address for spam or for ANYTHING else other than the above mentioned.
• You can be assured that your info will not be sold, traded or misused in any way for any reason. We don’t play that!
• We won’t send you an update of every single new individual  post and site change. That would be ridiculous and overwhelming.
• Although we sometimes promote, we definitely won’t flood your freaking email with a bunch of nonsense or 50 emails a day to get your attention or try to get your money.
• You can cancel whenever you like and the emails will stop. Period.
• Upon cancellation your email address will NOT be kept in our database. It will be deleted.
• You will have to sign up again to be re-added to our email list.
• When using our contact form, your personal info and email will only be used to follow up and communicate with you.
• When you make a purchase from our store, your personal info and email will only be used to verify and follow up on your current and future purchases.
• You will NOT be “spammed” all of a sudden with our newsletter and new product promo emails against your will after using our contact form, purchasing from our store or commenting on any post/page on our site.
• In order to receive any promo or subscription emails from us you must explicitly sign up on our subscription page or in our footer. Simple.

Cookies can be a good thing, cookies can be a bad thing. Our website does not focus on storing information on your computer or in your browser without your knowledge and consent. Not cool bro! You also won’t get a big stupid cookie warning pop-up covering the site content and telling you we’ll be stealing your info for customer experience and analysis purposes (whatever that’s supposed to mean). We intend to be as cookie-less and telemetric-less as possible without compromising security. If future site updates and implementations require them, it will be added to this list. There are times when cookies are innocently useful and reasonably helpful for the site owners as well as the end user. There are also instances when using cookies are necessary. Below outlines when our site inevitably must save cookies on your computer. If you don’t have a thorough explanation of cookies, you should! We will post a full article on this subject soon. Keep a look out for the post to get educated!

• When you leave comments on our pages or posts. After providing a comment along with a name and email, a cookie is automatically added so that the site can remember this info for the next time you comment on that same page. This way you do not have to input the same info every time you add a comment. Imagine having a conversation in the comments section, having to retype your name and email before every reply. No good.
• Additional cookies are added if you check the box that states “Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment”. These cookies will store your email and name for site-wide commenting. To avoid the additional cookies, all you have to do is NOT check the box.  In doing so, you will simply have to type in all info again the next time you comment on a different page. Simple.
• Whenever you access a page with embedded material (mostly videos) the website that hosts the embedded element is likely using their own cookies and telemetrics along with other trackers and analytics. A good example of this is any web page with YouTube videos embedded. In such a case, HTP Innovations installs no cookies or other trackers to your computer.
• Whenever you enter our store and shop with us. This is done to remember what items you have recently viewed, how many items are in your cart and other shopping related functions only.

By definition a sweepstakes is: A lottery in which the participants’ contributions form a fund that is awarded as a prize to one or several winners. It is a lottery in which the prize consists of the money paid by the participants. How bout that, huh? Instead of launching sweepstakes hustles we give away tech gear and other prizes to our subscribers and account holders. We do not charge any fee for these giveaways. We would simply like you to sign up with HTP Innovations and encourage others to do so as well. We also like giving away useful and productive gifts that help or inspire. Of course the actual account holders will get priority on the best of the best, but we don’t give away junk, regardless. In many cases, subscribing or creating an account is all that is needed. In other cases it will take a bit of activity. Our subscribers and account holders will never be asked to do anything foolish, distracting or uncomfortable. All give-a-ways that require additional activity are 100% optional, meaning YOU decide if you’d like to participate or not.

• Our prizes are not obtained through entering “sweepstakes”.
• There is no asking or hidden fees involved.
• Donating, making purchases and hiring us for service will not add you to our entry list.
• Only our subscribers and account holders will be entered in our give-a-ways.
• After subscribing to our email list or creating an account with us, you will be automatically entered in or considered for our give-a-ways.
• Sometimes a site visit, comment or some other non-financial contribution or involvement may be required by our subscribers to qualify for a particular give-a-way.
• Consistent give-a-ways will take place after every 100 new subscribers.** Other give-a-ways can be held at the discretion of HTPI.
• If you are not part of the most recent 100 subscribers you may still have a chance to win a give-a-way.**
• If any additional actions are required to be entered in a specific give-a-way, our subscribers will be informed via email.
• Many give-a-way items will be new and unopened.
• Some give-a-way items may be used or open-box, some will be modded. No matter, all items will be in fully functioning, working order,  equivalent to HTPI standards.
• Any item defects or issues will be made transparently clear from the beginning of the give-a-way or as soon as it is brought to our attention.
• If a give-a-way item is custom or home-brewed, the condition of the item will be made clear at the start of the give-a-way.
• Some give-a-way items will be disclosed to our subscribers, some may be a mystery prize.
• Non-personal info about each give-a-way and its winners may be posted on our site.

**Even if you are not one of our most recent 100 subscribers, we may still have give-a-ways for ALL of our subscribers at any moment. So as long as you are subscribed to or have an account with HTP Innovations, you will always have a chance to win something!
