The Indispensables vs Disposables
If a person was a “no-call no-show” for days at ANY respectable company……. They would be fired with no chance to return. And/or this would be their way of saying “I quit”. Whether a cowardly approach or justified, it is what it is. Unless there was some valid inevitable case, like a medical emergency or something, they’re finished. If it was school or a class, the person would eventually fail and have to take the class over or be expelled… What a bummer. All this is especially true if it happens after being confronted about your already sub-par performance and shady behavior by a supervisor, manager, teacher, principle, etc. And especially if it didn’t go too well. If you don’t show up, step your game up and make yourself indispensable, that’s what it’ll have to be. No worries though, it’s ‘business’, right? It happens. Comes with the territory.
Stuff like this happens all the time. Although presented here as an example, it is what I consider one of the many ‘crossroads’ in life. And you do have a choice! Yep! And we were always taught that crossroads only appear AFTER this life. Pssst!! As if!….. This is a metaphor for life itself. A universal philosophy, if I may. One that is definitely understood by me and part of my personal philosophy. It’s like “My Buddy”. Wherever I go, Heeeeeeee goes!
In all honesty, this letter itself was inspired by the recent experience of such and the people involved. The good ones and bad ones.
For nearly everyone, moments like such are the determining factor for us to decide and find out if we are serious, dedicated and/or up for the task at hand. It is for those around you to witness and accept the choices you make along with the proof you expose from your actions. Each moment is a critical crossroad that shows up in our careers and all other areas of our lives often enough. In such cases, many people become a product of their own foolishness and a victim in the process of elimination. This separates the nutritional plants and vibrant living roses from the troublesome weeds. Separating the ones who are Sure, Determined, Driven, Respectful, Respectable, Responsible, Reliable, Persistent and really want it (The Indispensables, The Assets), from the ones that are along for the ride, indecisive. procrastinators, disrespectful, only do the minimum, have low expectations and goals, refuse accountability, and are easily deterred/discouraged (the disposable liabilities). Whew, that was a mouthful.
The disposable liabilities become collateral damage. Not necessarily by the hands of the company or by life in general, but because of their own state of being and actions, which I just minimally described. It usually comes with their lack of desire and inability to change, evolve and heal. This is a universal and very sad, (often sickening) problem with people in general, from all walks of life. For both types of people, it becomes “who they are”. Their identity, willed mostly (if not entirely) by themselves. These moments, experiences, choices and actions always prove who they are, what they are about and what they are made of. To themselves and others. And it doesn’t lie, so there is no need to argue about it. Ha!
So which road defines you? Which do you choose to travel on? The Indispensable Assets Boulevard, paving the streets with the gold of Ma’at, building Success City along the way? Or disposable liability drive, in pothole city, making frequent stops in disastersville?……. How do you feel about yourself? Must you matter and be someone of purpose and value, success and transcendence? Or are you ok with being a non-contributive, unnecessary burden of redundancy? One that will end up being left behind and not honored and respected for anything at best, or collateral damage at worst?
The proving and de-weeding process is happening all over the world, all the time. I’m sure it shows up in your life, in many areas, quite often. Many people are afraid to choose at all. Some just keep choosing the wrong path, suffering and/or causing others to suffer. Many of these crossroads can make or break your life. Potentially those around you as well, depending on what you choose and how you react. On top of it all, it’s likely you’ll only get one chance and one opportunity to decide. If you blow it, at best the opportunity will never be presented again. At that point consider your scary self ‘lucky’. Why? Because at worst, life (or something else) will pick for you. And we all know how the majority of these cases turn out. Totally not good family. Plus you’ll be like an immature child, an acquiesced slave, or an uneducated irresponsible person who can’t make decisions for themselves. Needing to be monitored, controlled or redundantly told what to do all the time. Not a good look broski. Not a good reputation at all. For some crossroads, The Most High will give us many chances as it will continuously present itself to us, returning until we decide and conclude. We also have the option to realize our mistakes and take the active steps ourselves to recreate the chance, if we will too. Most disposables wouldn’t dare. SMH. However it happens, it will keep popping up, at least until you make ‘the’ decision. From there it’s either progress, transcendence and success or downhill to the dead zone. Not doing your research, then deciding and acting foolishly can lead to disaster and a domino effect of crappy occurrences. Being scared or ignorant, never eventually making the right choice will leave you dormant to say the least. A person going nowhere, In limbo, so to speak. Which trails right behind making the wrong choice. Either way, you’ll be stuck, stagnant and stupid! Avoid wisdom and you’ll find yourself being such a result. That is, if the fool even has the ability to see the state they are in and the problems they create from it. For the disposable ones, it seems better to be blind and blame others irrationally when it comes to their condition and the negativity that it oozes. But trust me, there is ALWAYS someone else to blame, both truthfully and in falsehood. Well I say blame whom you may, the truth shall remain. Just make sure you can factually prove, verify and conclude that you yourself are not the one to blame!
The Indispensables enjoy accepting credit and praise where it is due and true. We can equally accept blame, responsibility and accountability where it falls on us, in truth. We deal with the challenges and take initiating actions to handle things we’ve promised and committed ourselves to. When at fault, we accept and deal with the guilt, while willfully fixing what we screwed up with as much non-compromising haste as possible. We are delighted with the results. We couldn’t live or be happy without manifesting such honor and with such results being produced. Ahhhh the pleasure of being an Indispensable Asset!
But wait a second. I’m not looking down from so high, believe me. I myself have been in each of these painful challenges. Learning tremendously from being in the position of everyone mentioned here. I’ve been the one having to witness and accept other people’s choices. I’ve been the leader/boss/initiator faced with the task of de-weeding others. I have foolishly and painfully allowed myself to behave as the disposable liability far too many times. Screwing up opportunities for myself and others. Not realizing, knowing or even caring how my choices impacted others. Shame on me! We hardly, if ever, consider how many great gifts and blessing from God are stifled or never even get to manifest because of our selfish, careless or uneducated wrong decisions. Too many times have I been the one who has suffered or took an ‘L’ because of my involvement with and leniency/dependency on disposables. Letting people, situations and this life experience just run all over me, push me around and sabotage my vision and efforts. Super shame on me twice with two exclamation points!! Despite all these crappy behaviors, my true nature has always been that of The Indispensable Asset. I have always been such, in between and underneath all my screw ups. It’s how I emerged from the smoke after all the fires I’ve been in. Its where I feel happy, motivated and home, to say the least. It’s what I ‘know’ and I get no pleasure in trying to be anything else. These days it is all I am, all I do and all I tolerate in reciprocity!
I hope and pray that the message is clear and it is received by you as you read this. If so, I know you too can reach the same point and decide to be the best version of YOU that The Creator intended! If you have already, I hope this is the reinforcements and support that you need to maintain it and continue progressing! Continue doing the right thing, The Most High thing, and you will always succeed and prevail, even when worldly delusions try to project to you otherwise. Even when you don’t achieve the exact intended results. Even when it seems like you don’t stand a chance. When you make a mistake. When you fail at the current objective, remember your vision is still alive and can never die!! If you’ve tried to help and awaken a disposable (Most likely you have. Time and time and time again. Huuuuuuuuh.), avoid feeling guilty when it’s time to drop them, if it’s not your fault. Trust me they will most likely bail out and leave you when you need them the most anyway! Highly unreliable. The idea of a true loss from their vacancy is an illusion. They were vacant even while being present. If they stay, they will cost you far more than they could ever care to invest, in more ways than financial!
The Indispensable Assets or the disposable liabilities. It’s truly about life in general and our transcendence within The Most High. But whichever we are at the moment…… Whichever we decide to be and finally become……. It will show itself, by nature, in countless forms, in everything that we do, in all areas of our lives! So of course all families, relationships, businesses, institutions, schools, etc have to deal with this, inevitably. HTP Innovations is not exempt in the least. The good ones that survive have never let it stop them and have come up with a way to handle it. Weeding out the junk as swiftly as possible. A few, but not many, have found a way to prevent it entirely! More power to ’em!
Many time I wish I had someone to share such things with me. When I am weary or falling off and desperately need it to get back on track. Sometimes you just gotta dig deep inside, remember who you are and keep your eyes on the big picture! In weariness or failure, maintain the vision and keep rocking! Whether you have someone or not! As mentioned before, I write and share this based on heavy first hand experience. Old tales and recent events of such circumstances. So this is from the heart and not from a text book or a mere idea. And let’s not forget the people involved…….
To the disposable ones pushing liabilities, The Creator will always find a way to use your negativity as a means of positivity and progress for good. We will continue to learn from your mistakes and move forward, beyond you, IF you can not be helped that is.

I understand. If any of the disposable traits reflect you it may hit “home” or hurt a bit. Consider this a blessing. It might be the first step to showing that you have the desire to rise above! This read and your response to it should also be a point of reflection and a chance to choose your road. No one has to STAY disposable. This is woven into the message of the article. It’s those who stay this way, defend it, make excuses for it, etc that are the problem. This was written to inspire and uplift. To encourage those who find themselves behaving as and/or operating with the mentality of a disposable, to change. One may even find that they fall somewhere in the middle. A blend of the two. Yes, ‘She…’ transformation can be hard, but soooo worth it. I haven’t done it myself yet, but I’ve been blesssed to see others in my life and read a bout ones who have transformed, seen the before and affer, and I KNOW it’s worth the fight. You’re not alone. Don’t give up.
I think I’ve met an Indispensable! It was like meeting a Superhero out of costume. She was a little strange, weird. I couldn’t understand their standards of love, truth…I called myself a Truth Seeker. But after speaking for many hours with her, the hardest thing for me to accept was the ugly Truths that she showed me within myself. And that was the beginning of a long journey to REAL-izing Truth that continues to this day. So, people, look for the Indispensable Ones in your life. Hold on to their Superhero capes and dare to take the ride! Don’t give up and hang on with everything you’ve got, accepting all the bruises, bumps, and burns along the way (they’re really only temporary discomforts). Face them, don’t run. Because NOTHING can compare to when your Superhero Indispensable One looks to you and says, “Welcome aboard, my friend.”.
P.S. If you can’t find one, become the Indispensable One that you need, that we all need.
Hold on to their capes and take the journey…. We are here to teach the wisdom, share the gift and help each other along the way to becoming the best version of ourselves as God intended. Giving each other a lift when needed. But the point is to do the work and learn to fly as well, so that we all attain our proverbial cape of indispensability and divinity. Not to become comfortable with routinely or permanently holding on to somebody else’s cape as they do the work and the traveling, lest we become a speed decreasing weight. A burden, like too much unnecessary luggage on one’s back. A liability along for the ride. Instead, we fly side by side or in formation, equally and freely. Supporting each other and contributing equally. Progressing and sustaining our individual selves and the collective simultaneously.

Ha! Good point. A picture is worth a thousand words. Many are not aware of this, but film is typically 24 frames. This means 24 pictures are being captured every second, playing back in sequence, giving the illusion of motion. Do the math for an hour long film or video…

Very expressive wording and well said. I think what we been exposed to or our exposure to different situations play a major role in how we react, make decisions, and respond.
Thank you my brother. Yeah, the choice of wording seems to unnerve many or run them off. It is not meant in any way to be disrespectful, but very stern and passionate. Many confuse the two, then take offense and miss the wisdom and power. And yes, we are heavily affected and influenced by what we are exposed to. When we’ve been exposed to many negative and/or discouraging realities, we allow it to control us and govern our lives, shaping us and crippling us from being our best, as God intended. We gotta bust free from that prison! Being modest and tip-toeing around this can elongate or even prevent success. There is a time and a place for everything. Now is the time to go hard! Be blessed and driven by The Most High’s force!

Hotep My Brother. Your words are very “Inspiring and Heart” hitting. I know because I once walked in the shoes of the “DISPOSABLE ONES” and if I say so myself I wore them big shoes well, out of “IGNORANCE and PAIN”!!!! The reason I was in this “FALSEHOOD” of myself is because I lost sight of who I am and who I belong To. But that’s over now. For I have returned to my “RIGHTFUL” place and have put back on my “CORRECT”shoes!! You see, I was “ALWAYS” an “INDISPENSABLE” until I walked away from “PapaGOD’ and myself. Then putting “EVERYONE” else ahead, above and before him[Papa] and me, I “LOST” my way. But I’m back now, never to lose my place again!! Boy does it feel Awesome, Peaceful and Complete!!!!!!!! The feeling I carried being in the shoes of a “DISPOSABLE” was like “LITERALLY” being in “HELL”!!!! Papa is back, I’m back and Peace[Phil4:7]is back!! NEVER WILL LEAVE PAPA AGAIN!!!!! This article spoke to me @ 5:36am on a Wednesday morning and it has really opened my eyes. it has put into perspective the real essence of what is happening in our current world/culture daily, along with what I have come to realize within myself and how I perceive everyday people. 1st and foremost, I believe everyone is born a disposable(liability). I say that, simply because we are born into sin and inherit the sins of our parents. Not that it’s done on purpose or maliciously of course but done by default in a natural sense. As we get older we set out to be our own person, separate from our parents and family. What we learn/pickup along the way only helps shape and mode who you are currently and what you see when looking in the mirror. Knowing whether or not you’re a liability or asset, to yourself and to others, you must be able to look at yourself as is bare, with all your flaws and sinful ways. Not holding back nor sugar coating any of your imperfections or downplaying any scars you have and/or HAVE caused amongst others, regardless of the situation. We must realize that, to be a disposable means, to never be used again and we all know that simply CANNOT be true. Why? Because to become an Indispensable we must be born again and made anew, yk♀️
When we do the work on ourselves properly, we are able to understand and be better equipped to even help our fellow disposables, we have compassion, TRUE compassion. To obtain such compassion we must look within ourselves where the Most High resides(in our hearts, mind and spirit) and clean up from deep within to out. We learn to be humble with the understanding of what is actually needed of us, through HIM, so that we CAN be used again. All of our strengths, abilities and gifts are needed regardless of what we personally might think or feel about it. We as indispensables don’t feel the need to degrade, disrespect, talk down or belittle any disposables for, we understand why they are stuck or struggling in whatever area of their lifes journey that might be. We as the indispensable assests, know that everyone has a story behind their scars and trauma. And, as we awaken into our own indispensable abilities, we take into account that we will never be perfect in this existence, meaning; you too, can always be “disposed” of again, if YOU allow it. i.e. meaning; getting so swept up by the disposables negative regime that you begin to be like them, nasty, rude, slothful and stagnant. Not cool fam*
Now, our duties as an Indispensable, comes with a great leadership and responsibility that is guided by our Gods Love and Mercy upon us all, no matter the condition or situations. As indispensable leaders we must stay humble and understanding of those who seem stuck in their “disposable” state of being. We know our own flaws and scars, bear Nothing but the truth of our journey through this life. We have a duty to plant the seed of knowledge, growth and elevation of HOW we learned and otained our indispensable position in life. This is how we are even CONSIDERED an Indispensable. When we lead with Gods love for one another(love thy neighbor, as you would love thy self) not only does it please HIM but, it improves us Spiritually in the most important and very INTRICATE way. Helping those who know, Not of their own abilities and strength. Never taking pleasure in one’s demise, set back or failure. We Indispensables are no better than the disposables because we too were once them. As a indispensable we understand that, there’s no need to place blame on the actions of the disposables, for it serves us NO purpose. Our decisions are, our decisions ALONE. Regardless if we can say they are influenced by others, the decisions made to do right or wrong, were still our own decision. And, there’s no punchline to that broski
We are all given gifts from the Most High. Therfore, NO gift can be more important or better than another’s. All of our gifts are to be used for His glory and for us to benefit each other, thru HIS compassion. Indispensables don’t care nor need the praise of fellow disposables or even other indispensables, for that is a prideful action of a shallow man to fuel ego. We know humility will give us the ONLY praise thats important and that’s the Praise from our Most High. Neither of us (Indispensables or disposables) are ever truly alone, for we not only have our Father in spirit but we All have each other! Yes! True indispensables understand they have eachother. Whether it’s 2 or more gathered, the shared Energy and knowledge amongst them will forever be exponential. Our steps will only blessed if we continue to show our compassion and love for one another.
This act alone is harder and deeper to accomplish. We indispensables, realize that any of the superficial situations and behaviors, outcomes or retaliation of any disposable person, is so beneath us that we are ok walking away from them. Once a indispensable recognizes that a disposable is beginning to be liability, We then let go and let God do as HE must. This is to save us from being sucked into the disposables regime over again and again. But, ultimately too, what we learn is that we must continue extending the olive branch of compassion and love even well after a disposable seemingly leaves back down, ..”Disposable liability dr”♂️♀️ Now upon their return on “Indispensable Asset Blvd” They will be in dyer need of our compassion and understanding to navigate down it, yet again. I’ve mentioned before, we are NO better than them for, Gods hot coals upon thy head, will be their awakening just as, it was ours. It will be disgustingly deplorable of US to condemn them upon their return. For we respectfully understand how hard it really is to strive daily to be better in HIS eyes.
Until then, We pray for one another, Help one another, Love one another and show compassion to one another so that, our Mighty God continues to be merciful to us ALL. We pray to always be nothing more or less than a HOLY Indispensable Asset to ourselves and to others, used ultimately for our Most Highs purpose. So to all my fellow HOLY INDISPENSABLES let’s, continue to help the others and welcome back plenty and show HIS Love & compassion throughout, Because at the end of the day, God still wants them and so do we♂️♀️

Wow. What a response. Firstly, Thank you for joining the convo and sharing your thoughts. Such extensive input… I must say there are quite a few ‘discrepancies” that I would like to comment and leave feedback on. But there is much more to cover than I have the time and means to address at the moment. Too much to cover in a reply comment. There’s quite a few things that are inspiring and on point as well! Your ‘comment’ is more of an ‘article’ within itself. Maybe we should have given you your own dedicated article to extend upon, huh? 🙂 You are definitely on the right track.
